Content Creation and Strategic Narrative

As MCLA’s creative and brand strategy manager, Francesca planed the college’s annual digital advertising campaigns and created content for multiple audiences, including all the writing for MCLA’s Trailhead Magazine, strategic vision and narrative support for major fundraising projects and proposals, and facilitation of extensive video content.

MCLA’s 2018-19 President’s Report, which was co-managed and written by Francesca, was awarded a CASE Circle of Excellence Award in 2020.

In 2019, after adopting a new brand, MCLA reimagined its alumni magazine. Francesca wrote the entirety of the first issue of Trailhead, and continues to write for the publication.

Over nearly five years at MCLA, Francesca produced and managed extensive video content that captured the experiences of students, faculty, and alumni, all focused on the return on investment of a quality, public liberal arts education. This video exploring MCLA’s Nature of New England class reflects the college’s brand, shows students as scientists who perform public service as they learn research methods, and examines how a liberal arts approach to education can empower students across academic disciplines.
